HPF General Information

 

 

All of our policies and current information can be found in our

 Season Handbook.

 

 

Classes

Weekly on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00-9:30 at

5016 Susan Street.  Visitors and spectators are always welcome.  We are ALWAYS

accepting new membership and students.

 

 

Membership

Complete membership fees which include lessons, gear rental, fencing time and

repairs are only $35 a month.   Have you thought about joining; why not today?  You could be one

 of the next Junior Olympians or National Athletes in our area.  What are you waiting for?

 

 

Mission Statement

The High Plains Fencing Association exists to fill the needs of fencing in the

Amarillo area by providing clinics, tournaments, instruction, and any other

needs that arise for the betterment of fencing in the Texas Panhandle Area.

 

Short Term Goals

Instruct our fencers in foil, epee and sabre with lessons that will develop our

fencer's techniques, skills and fencing abilities.

 

Meet the needs of current fencing in the Amarillo Area by promoting clinics

and tournaments that will best benefit our fencers.

 

Raise funding to provide benefits for the fencers in our area.

  Including but not limited to scholarships, vendor, warm-ups,

T-shirts and other local needs as determined by our committee.
 

Long Term Goals

Fill the needs of the Amarillo area fencers by opening a

full time fencing facility.  Facility to be opened at least three nights a week.

 

Help  coaches and referees improve their skills by providing

training clinics and advancement opportunities with-in the Amarillo Area.
